Meliá signs for three new resorts in Cape Verde
The Spanish Hotel group Meliá Hotels International announced the signature of an agreement to develop three new all-inclusive resorts on the island of Santiago, the biggest and most populated in the Cape Verde Archipelago. The Meliá Lusofonia Resort & Spa (320 rooms), Meliá Lusofonia (150 rooms) and Meliá Lusofonia Residences (130 rooms) will open their doors between 2019 and 2020. they will be located on the shoreline between the capital, Praia, and the historic port of Cidade Velha, a site that has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 2009.
